Age Range of Students
- Target Group: Ages 14 –19+ (Key Stage 3, 4, Post-16, and Level 3 Programmes)
- Age range of learners: Target group: Key stage: Schools – 13 -18
- Adults Programme 19+:
Subjects offered are qualifications in Maths, English, ICT & Health & Social Care.
Capacity
The maximum intake is 60 students, this can take up to 40 students at a time, with flexibility to meet individual needs. Small group provisions and one-to-one support are also available.
Referral Process
Enrollment is available year-round. Referrals must be made by schools or local authority representatives by completing the referral form. After submission, an appointment with the Head of Provision will be arranged to finalise enrollment. We aim to start the programme within one week of referral.

Which Students Are Currently Offered Provision?
We work with a range of learners from broad and diverse backgrounds including, but not limited to:
- Struggle with emotional or behavioral challenges
- Have experienced trauma, bullying, or other complex life circumstances
- Are excluded from or refusing to attend mainstream schools
- Are dealing with bereavement, homelessness, or family issues
- Are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)
Brief Description of Curriculum Offered
For Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11):
We provide a well-rounded curriculum tailored to individual student needs, including:
- GCSEs: English, Maths, Science, and Humanities
- Functional Skills: English, Maths, and ICT
- Personal Development Courses: Employability Skills, Mentoring, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education), and Careers Guidance
For Post-16 (Level 3 Programmes):
Our post-16 programme focuses on preparing students for higher education, apprenticeships, or employment, offering:
- GCSE Retakes
- Functional Skills Qualifications
- Accredited Levels 3 to 7 Diplomas tailored to individual interests and career goals

ONLINE LEARNING
Capacity: How many students can be accommodated:
Unlimited. However, we hold lessons in small groups according to needs of learners and expectations of the referral organisation or parent/carer.
Expected Outcomes for Students
Our programme aims to achieve the following outcomes:
- Academic and vocational qualifications, including GCSEs and Level 3 Awards
- Reintegration into mainstream education, if applicable
- Transition to further education, apprenticeships, or employment
- Improved mental health and personal well-being

- Development of personal, social, and employability skills
- Prevention of permanent exclusion and reduction of anti-social behaviors
Pastoral Support on Offer
We provide a strong support system for all students, including:
- Bespoke support plans created in partnership with parents/carers and the student
- Access to experienced mentors and counselors
- Regular progress reviews to monitor and adapt strategies
- Support with behavior management and well-being
- Collaboration with other professionals to address barriers to learning
Transport
Transport arrangements are discussed with parents and carers. Where applicable, students may access existing transport services provided by local authorities or the college. However, we are located at the city centre which is about 3 minutes’ walk to Queensgate bus station and also a further 2 minutes to the train station
Cost Structure
Our flexible pricing structure accommodates various needs:
- Small Group Support (up to 6 students per staff member): £50/hour
- Enhanced Group Support (3 students per staff member): £60/hour
- One-to-One Support (on-site or online): £82.50/hour
- Specialised One-to-One or Two-to-One Support (off-site): £110/hour
Custom pricing is available for more complex pathways.

- Regular lesson observations and learning walks ensure high teaching standards.
- Annual staff appraisals focus on professional development and teaching quality.
- All staff undergo safeguarding, first aid, and compliance training as well as being DBS checked.
- Accredited by recognised awarding bodies such as ATHE UK.
- Regular reviews by local authorities and feedback from parents and students.
